When Is The Best Time To Hire Employees?

At this point, you’ve probably been working super hard for your business and everything is finally starting to making sense. You may believe that you can run this show all alone but that is the wrong mindset to have. If you want a brand that continues to experience growth then you definitely should evaluate your company’s current situation to see if you need an extra pair of hands.

The hardest part about hiring is knowing when to hire. Most entrepreneurs fail to realize that they need help until they are way in over their heads. Here are 5 signs that will tell you that you need to hire.

You’re Doing Too Much

I don’t know who needs to hear this but…

YOU CAN’T DO EVERYTHING!

If you started your business as a childcare specialist and that’s what you’re good at, then that should be your only focus. If you’re trying to be the accountant, the graphic designer, the copywriter, the social media manager, or anything outside of YOUR job then you are doing entirely too much. Let it go and hire some help.

Your Customers/ Clients Aren’t Happy

Customer satisfaction is the most important part of your business. The people who are making you money are the people that you have to please and if they are giving you negative feedback you have to fix it. When it’s time for you to hire, you will start hearing frequent complaints about shipping times, turnaround times, and not being able to contact you. The only way to fix this is to hire.

You Can’t Take On Any New Customers/Clients

You should never have to turn away good business. That is literally money walking out of your life. Telling potential customers/clients that you’re booked up for 3 months is a BIG mistake and you definitely need to hire help at this point.

You Have The Money

Looking at your business account and seeing it do numbers is always a good feeling. You may even feel that more money means that you can finally live the life that want. But, if you’re a good business owner, you’ll see that you have enough money to add an employee or two. If your hires are good at what they do, they’ll make you more money than they’re costing you. If you have enough business income, spend it on some help to see and feel the difference.

Running a business can be stressful but you don’t have to do it alone. Hire well and you will see huge gains in your business!
